She has lived up and down the east coast but lived in Asheville, NC for more than 20 years where she worked at the Smith-McDowell House Museum as well as for the Vance Birthplace State Historic site. Her family fell in love with a 1875 Victorian farmhouse located in Rutherfordton, NC and owning a historic home had always been her dream. “I have been collecting everything Victorian for more than 20 years and I now have the perfect period home to display all my treasures.”

Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” - Anonymous. This is where VIC of Vic and Spade began. “I love going to estate sales, flea markets, yard sales, and antique stores and I have done the world's longest yardsale 6 times!” “I love vintage and antiques for a number of reasons, not the least of which is that they are better made and a much greener option than our current throw away society.”
Please consider us for your estate sale needs. We will treat you the client as we would treat our own family by staging your home in a gallery type setting and individually pricing all items for sale. Our goal is to provide both our clients and customers an enjoyable experience whether they are downsizing or shopping. As a result of this philosophy, both clients and customers become friends and family.
